Logo

The MC Homes logo is an instantly recognizable symbol of the brand. That’s why it’s important to use the logo exactly as specified in these guidelines.

The icon, an interlocked, stylized abbreviation of the former brand name—Mitchell Construction—can be used by itself, as seen above. But isolated use of the icon should always be supplemental. Never rely on the icon alone for recognition.

The wordmark is a “constructivist” stylization of the 70’s era Avant Garde Gothic typeface, making it both evocative of and recognizable to our key customer demographic. The wordmark should never be displayed without the icon.

The logo is presented in two layout versions: horizontal, and vertical.

Typography

The brand of MC Homes is based around building a dream home to celebrate a life well-lived. Accordingly, the primary audience is aged 60 and up.

Our typography is meant to speak directly to that audience through the combination of bold, solid-spaced type and 70’s era luxury.
